Arroooing - Letting the world know "Hey, here I am!" -- a partial howling.

BWAP - After a good meal and a big drink they crawl up onto your lap, look you square in the eye and out of their mouths come "BBWWAAPPP!" and they look so pleased with themselves. It is considered a Scotty thanks for such a good meal.

Bubbling- When they stick their whole head into the water bowl and blow bubbles from their nose...

Burial Whine - When they have something in their mouth to bury but can't find a place to bury it.

Cat Patrol - Every night before bed they must do a thorough search of the area to make sure there are no kitties in the territory.

Charminize - To unroll a roll of toilet paper and decorate the house with it.

Circumferentiating - running multiple circles around the yard. 

Conivin' - When someone has just taken them out and they go to another person in the house who doesn't know this and pitifully asks to go out again

Draping - When you are eating something they really, really want so they get on the back of the couch and hang their head over your shoulder to get closer to the food.

Flopping - When a Scotty rolls on their back and flops around like a fish out of water.

Fluctate - Wagging their tail so fast it causes their whole butt to shake. In this state the tail has the potential to knock things off tables and shelves.

Frapping - Frenetic (or Frantic) Random Activity Period

Froggin-out - When they lay down with all four paws out to the front and back.

Frosty Paws - Manna from Heaven for dogs only. A doggie frozen treat.

Gawp - To stare blankly into space. When a dog has this look it is in dire need of a belly rub or play time.

Gettin' down and dirty - When they are really a frappin' and a scrappin' and they go in for the kill.

Giffing - That sneeze/snort thing they do to get your attention.

Grubbing - Rolling, kicking, and growling at the same time, especially after a bath.

Gundamation - To destuff a stuffed animal.

Head sitting - When they have almost the whole bed to themselves and they choose to sit on your head.

Helicopter Jump - When they jump off furniture and seem to hover while turning in the air.

Invisascot - What the Scotty hopes to become when you are trying to catch them to brush their hair or teeth.

Kitty Ballistic - What happens when they spot a cat while on Cat Patrol.

LBD's - Little Black Dog's or Little Bitty Dogs or Little Brindled Dogs or Little Blonde Dogs or whatever you want it to mean.

Melting a Human - When they want something and they sit up so cute and tip their head and then if you ignore them they put their paw on your knee and whine real cute.

Playing Horsie - When you take them for a walk and they go at full speed dragging you behind them like you are some sort of wagon.

Prefrapavation - Stiff fourlegged bounce they use with each other as an
invitation to FRAP.

Pupscicle - A very cold Scottie with a wet nose.

Pup Squeak - That noise dogs make when they are yawning.

Putting the lean on - When they want something or want to do something and you won't let them do it. They will push up against you real hard as if to nudge you into their way of thinking.

Rippling - The act of shredding up any type of paper product.

Scottie shuffle - That kicking motion with the back legs after they use the facilities.

Scottie Skid Marks - The marks on the baseboards, bottoms of furniture, etc from LBD's wallering.

Scottie Sniggles - The marks on your car window, patio door,etc...from little wet curious nosies.

The Snort - The grunting noise they make when they are really into playing with something.

Splunging - Rubbing their wet beards on you after a drink. Also called a Wet Wally.

Squibbing - stiff front legged bounce with a bark that says "NOW, I want it  NOW!"

Ueydon'ts - Running at high speeds and attempting a sharp turn only to tumble and wipeout.

Ueydoos - Running at high speeds and executing U-turns or other high speed maneuvers.

Wallering - Rubbing off that nasty, clean smell after a bath on the walls, furniture,and carpet. You can tell if your dog wallers by that telltale sign of fur along the bottoms of all your furniture.

Whisker Cleaning - What dogs do after a special treat, especially Frosty Paws. A way of saying Thanks for the treat.

Woobie - Stuffed toy which is licked and carried around for a while until it turns evil and must be destroyed.
