Yeast Infection in Ears
.
Ear infection is an ailment, which can be treated using some of the homeopathic techniques which have been used mainly by women over the centuries.  Veterinarians often prescribe expensive medicines where in this case a common household remedy will do.

So what if your child had swimmer's ear?  Yeast infections in women are the same. The same remedy works for dogs' ears too.

Just swab your dog's ears twice a day with the following solution:

2 parts water
1 part rubbing alcohol
1 part white vinegar

After a few days the solution can be changed to:

1 part water
1 part rubbing alcohol
1 part white vinegar

Heat and moisture are the two main factors that promote the growth of yeast infection. The alcohol helps to reduce the moisture.  The vinegar kills the yeast infection.

Finally, if there is a recurring incidence of this malady, it may become necessary to swab the dog's ears twice a day with diluted vinegar such as:

1 part water
1 part white vinegar

which will kill the infection, and then proceed to the methods above.
